In Brazil, a heartbreaking injustice.

Orelha (“Ear”) was a beloved dog in his community and a symbol of kindness and loyalty. Earlier this year, in Florianópolis, he became the victim of a cruel act carried out by a group of teenagers. He was found too late and sadly did not survive.

His life mattered. His suffering should not be ignored.
We stand in mourning, and we stand for accountability, compassion, and stronger protection for animals.
