What dog grooming services do we provide?

We offer a wide range of dog grooming services. Our deluxe bath package features nail trimming, ear cleaning, light brushing, paw pad trimming, and gentle hand-fluff drying. The full groom package includes everything in the deluxe bath, along with a customized haircut done by hand scissoring. We also have a shed-reduction treatment designed to remove loose fur. In addition, you can request extra add-on services such as teeth cleaning, detangling, dematting, and much more.

BooBoo Grooming Procedures

The entire grooming procedure typically takes about 3-4 hours from checking in to picking up your pet. The actual grooming time may vary, depending on the size, coat condition and behaviour.

Check-In & Consultation

During check-in, we speak with the owner to understand the desired grooming services and preferred style. If a requested trim isn’t achievable due to the pet’s coat length or condition, we explain the limitations and offer professional suggestions. Once a style is agreed upon, we begin with basic cleaning and brushing to start working toward the final look.

Comprehensive Assessment

After check-in, a team member performs a full evaluation of your dog or cat, checking the skin, coat, nails, paws, ears, and teeth for any concerns that may require extra attention. We also observe your pet’s behavior to ensure they receive the best possible care.

Grooming Preparation

Next, we move on to essential prep work such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and ear plucking (when appropriate based on breed).

Brushing & Pre-Bath Trim

We thoroughly brush and comb the coat, removing knots, tangles, and excess fur before bathing.

Bathing

Different breeds and coat types require different products, so we use a range of organic shampoos and conditioners tailored to the pet’s specific skin and coat needs. These gentle formulas help maintain a healthy and clean coat.

Drying Process

After the bath, we begin with towel drying, then use a blower to remove excess water. A fluff dryer is then used to simultaneously brush and straighten the coat, preparing it for the finishing groom.

Paw Pads & Sanitary Trim

Once the coat is dry, we trim the fur on the paw pads to prevent slipping and clean up the groin and anal areas to maintain hygiene and prevent buildup.

Final Styling

With all prep complete, we proceed to the final styling. If scissoring will enhance your pet’s look, our groomer will follow the notes from the assessment and craft a style that suits your pet best—whether it’s a traditional breed cut, a teddy bear look, or an Asian fusion style. For pets with natural coats needing shed-reduction or undercoat removal, we complete a last round of brushing and tidying. All trimming is done by hand-scissoring for a smooth, polished finish.
